I recently enjoyed a family getaway at Penzion Borievka in Spišská Sobota, just a short drive from the High Tatras. As a landscape photographer, I often seek cozy accommodations that allow for quick access to stunning vistas, and Borievka certainly delivered on that front. One highlight was the child-friendly amenities. We had a crib set up for our little one, which made settling in so much easier. I appreciated the warm welcome from the staff, who shared insights about local hikes-we were well-prepared for our adventures! After our long days exploring, the private jacuzzi offered a perfect relaxation spot. The location is fantastic, just a short walk into the charming main square, making it easy to grab dinner after a day on the trails. The quiet setting, combined with the warm atmosphere of the guesthouse and helpful staff, made our stay enjoyable. It was truly a delightful base for our family exploration of the scenic surroundings, and we would happily return for another visit.
